American Red Cross Great Britain ARC war workers pin badge

A scarce original Second World War period 'American Red Cross Great Britain badge'; small chromium plated example with blue enamel title surround, red cross to the centre on white enamel ground; the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Diameter approx 20mm.
Worn by British volunteer staff who worked in the Canteens of the American Red Cross clubs in Great Britain, many of whom were WVS members.
