Midland Red North enamel bus badge Shropshire Staffordshire West Midlands

A very scarce original circa 1981 to 1992 short lived period 'Midland Red North Public Service Vehicle transport badge' small metal nickel disc, the centre displaying the companies red stag logo with ribbon scroll below 'MIDLAND RED NORTH' on yellow enamel ground; the reverse bearing single screw post fitting with brass nut with serrated surround to stop it swivelling. Very good condition, no enamel loss.
Diameter 25mm.
In 1981 Midland Red North was formed, operating from six depots in Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands, it was sold to the Drawlane Transport Group in 1992.
