A scarce original Great War period circular gilt badge with central Crown, the title surround 'On War Service 1914' inlaid with dark blue enamel, the reverse with maker's details 'Vaughtons Ltd Birmingham' and impressed with official low issue number 'D4339 Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel with minor service wear.
