A scarce original silver plated oval 'State Certified Midwife' badge, depicting the symbolic figure of 'Juno Lucina' Roman goddess of childbirth within a blue enamel title surround 'S.C.M', the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Regent St Birmingham'. Very good pristine condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, an excellent example.
