Awarded to 'Private Jesse Taylor from Latchford in Cheshire who volunteered for service with the South Lancashire Regiment, he landed in France on the 18th July 1915 and later transferred to the Machine Gun Corps. He was reported wounded with the MGC on the 15th August 1916 and again reported wounded in the casualty list, published on the 16th November 1918. Good condition, complete with original silk riboon, Machine Gun Corps shoulder titles, wound stripe, suspension pin. Heavy VERDIGRIS staining to front and minor stain to reverse.

A scarce original vintage period 'DCM League lapel badge' designed in the form of a Lancashire Rose and enamelled in the colours of medal ribbon red blue red and inscribed to the surround 'For Distinguished Conduct In The Field'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fenwick B'Ham' (Arthur Fenwick Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fittings, no damage to the enamel, minimal service wear. Height 26mm. Distinguished Conduct Medal DCM League was formed in 1931 by 'Bob Moyse MC DCM' from Lancashire, to look after the welfare and well being of holders of the Distinguished Conduct Medal who had been decorated during the Sudan campaigns, Boer War and First World War.

A good original First World War POW soldiers full size medals awarded to '35247 PTE C.E. JOLLEYS R. LANC. R'. Comprising: British War Medal, Victory Medal, these retain the original silk ribbons and remain as originally mounted and worn by Private Jolleys. Private Colin E Jolleys was born in Salford and at the time of his enlistment was living in Oldham Lancashire. He is confirmed as landing in France after the 1st January 1916 and was awarded the British War Medal and Victory Medal only. He is noted as serving with the Royal Lancaster Regiment the King’s Own regimental number 35247, The Lancashire Fusiliers number 47316 and the 1st Bn Sherwood Foresters the Notts & Derby Regiment, number 108824. He was serving with the 1st Battalion Notts & Derby Regiment on the 27th May 1918 when the Red Cross files noted him as being taken Prisoner of War.

Awarded to "SE.8739 PTE. J.KINGMAN. A.V.C." Complete with replacement ribbon. Good condition, toned. Private James Kingman enlisted into the Army Veterinary Corps with the service number SE.8739 on the 26th May 1915. He landed in France on the 5th June 1916. He was discharged on the 20th September 1917. due to ill health and was awarded the 'Silver War Badge'. The S.E. initials on his service number meaning 'Special Enlistment (General Service)' is unique to the Army Veterinary Corps.

Awarded to "1703 GNR. F. Chrispin. R.F.A." Complete with replacement ribbon. Good condition, toned. Driver Frederick Chrispin enlisted into the Territorial Royal Field Artillery with the service number 1703 on the 30th November 1914. He was posted for service in Egypt and landed on the 27th May 1915. He was later issued the service number 695079. He was discharged on the 6th April 1919 due to ill health and was awarded the 'Silver War Badge'.

A good original early post-1951 'Burma Star Association membership lapel badge' designed on the style of the Burma Campaign Star in gilded brass and inlaid with yellow and green enamel, the reverse bearing maker's detail "J.R.Gaunt. London". Excellent condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting. Height 25mm. The Burma Star Association was officially founded on the 26th February 1951.

Complete with original watered silk ribbons. 1382 Private Ernest Henry Wallis was a native of Lewisham and enlisted into the 20th Bn London Regiment. He is confirmed as being awarded the Pair only and the second Regimental number 630243. He was Killed in Action on the 30th August 1918.

Awarded to 547968 SPR G GARMIRIAN R.E. Mounted as originally worn. 'Sapper Gregory Garmirian' Royal Engineers is confirmed as being awarded the Pair only. He was born at Constantinople in 1883 and granted British citizenship in April 1914. In the post war years he based himself in Hendon North London as a Turkish Armenian trader. It is interesting to note that this is a unique issue, no other man of this surname was issued with Great War medals in the army.
