WW1/ WW2 Middlesex Regiment, Leicestershire Home Guard Medal Group

This group was awarded to Mr Claude C Bennett who served during the Great War with the Middlesex Regiment and later Royal Fusiliers and during WW2 once more volunteered for service with the Home Guard.
Comprising:
British War Medal, Victory Medal, “5238 PTE C BENNETT MIDD’X R’, Defence Medal.
Medals are loose and complete with original silk ribbons.

These are contained in the card forwarding box for the Defence Medal, addressed to:

C C Bennett, 63 Gainsbourgh Road, Leicester. The reverse on the box indicates issued by the Territorial Army The Magazine Leicester.
Also a WW1 Period Middlesex Regiment brass shoulder tittle.
Private Bennett is confirmed as been awarded the British War Media and Victory Medal for Great War service.
