The 'Lusitania' was sunk by a German submarine on May 7th 1915. She had on board at the time 1,951 passengers and crew, of whom 1,198 perished. This is an exact replica of the medal which was designed in Germany and distributed to commemorate the sinking of the 'Lusitania'. This example was struck in England during the Great War and issued by the 'Lusitania Souvenir Medal Committee' 32, Duke Street, Manchester Square W.1. with all profits going to the 'St. Dunstan's Blinded Soldiers and Sailors Hostel'. Very good condition, minor surface rust, Box of issue and Certificate now ABSENT. Diameter approx 55mm.

A good original circa 1960's period 'R.M.S.Queen Elizabeth' gilt and enamel souvenir pin brooch in the form of a cut out representation of the Cunard Line ship. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example. Width 43mm. 'R.M.S. Queen Elizabeth' was in service for 'Cunard Line' she started her maiden voyage 1940. The ship was completely destroyed by the fire in 1972 and sunk in Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour.

A scarce original circa 1940's 'Cunard-White Star Line Officer's cap badge', the Company coat of arms in gilt metal 'a lion holding a globe its hind leg resting upon a torse' within a padded King's Crown and gold bullion wreath. Fair condition, lining and padding backing now ABSENT, bullion dulled. Height 70mm. The 'Cunard-White Star Line' was founded in 1934 with the merger of the Cunard Line and the White Star Line, it was completely bought out by the 'Cunard Line' in 1949.

Innisfallen Shipping Line gilt and enamel brooch', the 'City of Cork Steam Packet Company' Ireland enamelled flag mounted to the centre of a blue enamel ships wheel. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect. Diameter 31mm. During the Second World War on the 21 December 1940 the ferry 'M.V. Innisfallen' struck a mine off the Wirral Peninsula, Cheshire and sank with the loss of four of the 220 people on board.

Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact. Diameter 28mm. 'T.S.S. Arandora' built 1927 was in service for 'Blue Star Line'. Renamed 'T.S.S. Arandora Star' in 1929. In the Second World War, 1940 she was torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic with the loss of many lives.
