Duke of Rothesay Steamship Railway Servants Orphanage Charity Badge c.1956

A scarce original circa 1956 period 'Duke of Rothesay miniature steamship enamel pin badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H,W,MILLER LTD B'HAM.18' displayed on its rare original card backing inscribed:
'Given in return for a donation to 'THE RAILWAY SERVANTS ORPHANAGE DERBY' A home for Children of Railwaymen of ALL regions. A Home which is supported by voluntary contributions. Children are admitted from the age of two years. Over 150 Children are at present receiving help from the funds.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.'
The badge is in very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact. Length approx 40mm.
