A good original 'Airfix Modellers Club membership badge for the plastic scale model kit enthusiast products, launched in 1974 by Fleetway Publications in conjunction with the 'Airfix Company' until 1981, in the form of a chromium plated circular badge, the centre with applied plastic insert advertising the 'Airfix Company' logo with 'Modellers Club' added below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini 36 Barr St. B'Ham & Sons Ltd'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings. Diameter approx 28mm.

A good original circa 1950's chromium plated promotional badge, with the cleverly designed Spratts logo in the distinctive form of a Scottie dog, the reverse and with maker's details 'Marples & Beasley Ltd B'Ham' and additional 'Spratt's Mixed Ovals' in relief. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel good but with minor manufactures infill flaw to tip of ear. Height 23mm. The Scottie dog brand image was invented for Spratt's by the graphic designer 'Max Field Bush' in 1936. The calligram design logo was used for their cat food, bird food and fish supplements. In order to qualify for a free Spatt's dog badge, pet owners were asked to collect 32 `Trade Mark Symbols' from either Spratt's Bonio, Weetmeet Nos. 1&2. Ovals, Mixed Ovals, Puppy Biscuits and Spratt's Meat. When Spratts was bought by Spillers in 1972, the life span of the loveable dog came to an end.

A scarce original circa late 1950's early 1960's period 'National Coal Board colourful promotional celluloid tin button badge depicting a cuddly Teddy Bear holding a coal bucket and bearing the slogan 'There's Nothing So Cosy As A Nice Coal Fire'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, colour remains bright, some minor surface scratches and rust marks to reverse. Diameter 31mm.

A scarce original circa 1960's period 'Wright’s Biscuits South Shields Mischief Club colourful promotional celluloid tin button badge, depicting an impish little boy holding a large ginger nut biscuit. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, colour remains bright, some minor surface scratches, no sign of any foxing. Diameter 32mm. The 'Wright’s Biscuits Ltd, South Shields,Tyne and Wear' to boost sales in the early 1960's, drafted in the artist 'Mabel Lucie Attwell' a popular illustrator of fairytale and nursery rhyme books, to create ‘Mischief’ which became the Wright’s company trademark. Children could join the Mischief Club and get a special badge.

Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, some enamel to eye, stress marks to legs. Price reflects. Height 28mm. Huntley & Palmers biscuit making company was founded in 1822 and was originally situated in Reading Berkshire. The John Ginger character in Quacker style clothes, was created in 1933 and was the trademark for their Ginger Nut biscuits.

An exceptionally good original early 20th century 'Bournville Cocoa advertising Vesta tin case' bearing vividly coloured enamel representation of a 1lb tin of the Cadbury product and defining the attributes of the pure soluble cocoa. Very good condition, the reverse incorporating match striker with very little use, minor wear to gilt finish. Size 64 x 50mm.

A very good original circa 1940's period 'The Freetoze League badge'; gilt metal circular example, with blue enamel semi circular title scroll, with embossed scene of a boy and girl happily playing with their terrier dog and wearing 'Freetoze Shoes'. Excellent mint condition, complete with original pin fittings typical of the period, enamel perfect. Diameter 26mm. 'The Freetoze League' badges were given with each purchase of 'Freetoze Children's Shoes', which were sold through the very well known shoe retailer at the time 'Dolcis'.

A good original circa 1970's promotional bagde' in the form of a large moulded plastic muscely man running with force and outlined in black, his head and chest replaced by an 'Ever Ready Power Plus' battery. Very good condition, complete with original brass safety pin fitting, no cracks or distortions, colours remain bright, minimal wear. Height 64mm. The Ever Ready Co (Great Britain) was well known for its batteries, the company was also a producer of torches and bicycle lamps.
