A good original full sized unnamed gilt medal as issued in 1920, the obverse with Red Cross within laurel wreath and surrounding title 'British Red Cross Society For War Service: 1914 -1918', the reverse with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and Latin motto 'Inter Arma Caritas' (In War, Charity). Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon and suspension bar with pin fittings, complete with its original presentation case with coloured details to the front.
