A scarce early original pre-1928 small gilt and enamel '2LO London Radio Circle badge' bearing the 'Flag of the City of London' and a transmission tower, the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Hockley St (Birmingham) Ltd' (1919-1928) and impressed with official issue number '4062'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, pin possibly a replacement, small defects to the enamel.

2LO radio station first began broadcasting on 11 May 1922 from Marconi House in London's Strand it transferred in November of that year to the new British Broadcasting Company which was itself replaced by the British Broadcasting Corporation in 1927.
