A scarce original pre 1941 die-stamped figure of an Elizabethan coastwatcher holding a flaming torch and scanning the horizon resting in a curved scroll inscribed 'Observer Corps'; the reverse retaining original three blade fittings. Very good condition.
Height 38mm.

The 'Observer Corps' was awarded the title 'Royal' by His Majesty King George VI in April 1941, in recognition of service carried out by Observer Corps personnel during the Battle of Britain.
