WW1 The Wounded Stripe No.4 official uniform sleeve badge

A good original example of a First World War period gilded brass 'Wound Badge', the reverse stamped in relief "AB ) Prov Pat,7342-17(No.4", complete with backing plate stamped "The Wounded Stripe Prov No.4 Pat". Very good condition, complete with two loop fittings and split pin.

Baden Powell Trained Army Scouts service dress sleeve badge

A scarce original circa 1905 -1921 sheet brass SMALL pattern fleur-de-lys sleeve badge chosen by Colonel Baden Powell when he introduced scouting in the Army whilst out in South Africa commanding the 5th Dragoon Guards circa 1897. The first official mention traced is in Army Order of 1905. This example was worn by Army Scout 1st Class. Very good condition, minimal service wear, retaining original two loop fittings and split pin.

The 'Baden Powell Trained Army Scouts' badge was abolished in 1921.
