A scarce original circa pre 1939 period 'Girl Guides Tawny Owl Assistant badge'; gilt brass example inlaid with yellow translucent enamel, depicting a beautifully feathered wise owl, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.A.Wylie & Co London' 'Regd No 688485' a registered, design and patent date of 1922. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with minor stress marks to ears.
