National Federation of Womens Institutes For Home & Country WI badge

A good original last quarter of the 20th century period 'National Federation of the Women's Institutes gilt badge', the centre bearing large red enamel 'WI' monogram on white enamel ground and 'For Home and Country' top and bottom inlaid in green enamel; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd B'Ham.19'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
