Robertsons 1937-1939 Golly footballer badge red & white ball

A very rare original example of a pre-war 'Robertson's Golly footballer badge', with white hands wearing a yellow V-neck waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' and kicking a red and white ball; the reverse impressed in relief with a 'REGd 808442' a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1936 and maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18". Very good condition, complete with original coiled pin fitting and hooked catch, enamel perfect except for minor stress lines stretching across both legs.
