National League of Airmen 1935 membership badge

A scarce original 'National League of Airmen 1935 badge' in the form of a gilt metal aeroplane inlaid with dark blue enamel, the reverse with maker's details 'Roden London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.

The National League of Airmen was created in 1935 by Lord Rothermere, Britain's first Secretary of State for Air.
