A very scarce original late Victorian period 'Primrose League' gilt and enamel badge, in the form of a crowned highly enamelled convex disc, bearing a primrose bud and inscribed 'Juvenile Branch' with additional ribbon scroll below 'Secretary'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with minor service wear and rubbing below the crown. Height 35mm.

A good original Victorian period 'Primrose League Decoration of the Grand Star Second Grade badge'; large unmarked star, cut in brilliant silver facets, mounted with gilt Garter inlaid with blue enamelling, bearing the legend 'Imperium Et Libertas' (Empire and liberty), surmounted by an Imperial Crown and yellow enamel primrose centre. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings and central hook to accomodate a ribbon, enamel with very minor flaw to top of Garter. Height approx 58mm. Conferred on Members of the Primrose League for special meritorious service.
