A rare original First World War period amazing pair of candlesticks, made from animal bone and skillfully carved by a German prisoners of war with rose floral decoration in relief within patterned borders, two panels to reverse of each inscribed 'Knockaloe 1917' and 'From OHB'. Good condition, one wooden candle fitting to top now absent.
