A scarce original Second World War post 1940's period 'Mechanised Transport Corps Associate Member badge' in the form of a die-cast miniature size bronzed motor car wheel and tyre, the voided centre bearing crossed spanners each with a raised letter 'MTCAM' with motto scroll below 'Pro Patria'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.
