A scarce original circa 1953 to 1968 period 'Nottinghamshire Constabulary police helmet badge', large chromium plated Elizabeth II crowned star, with raised blue enamel title surround and 'EIIR' to centre, the reverse with single central screw fittiing, retainer now absent. Good condition, some enamel loss and dent to title surround. Height 122mm. Diameter 58mm. Nottinghamshire Constabulary established 1840. it amalgamated with Nottingham City Police to form Nottinghamshire Combined Constabulary in 1968.

A scarce original circa 1953 to 1974 early issue period 'Birmingham City Police senior officer's cap badge'; die cast unmarked silvered Queen's Crowned eight pointed star, incorporating blue enamel title circlet, the voided centre bearing 'EIIR' cypher. Very good condition, complete with original two pairs of blade fittings, no damage to the enamel, minimal wear. Height 50mm. In 1974 the Birmingham City Police amalgamated with the West Midlands Constabulary to form the West Midlands Police.

A scarce original pre-1953 'Reading Police senior officer's cap badge'; die cast chromium plated Kings Crowned eight pointed star, incorporating title circlet inland with blue enamel, the voided centre bearing the arms of the 'Borough of Reading' a lined shield displaying five maidens' heads in relief. Very good condition, retaining original two loop fittings and pin to reverse, enamel perfect. Height 48mm.

A scarce post-1969 'Royal Hong Kong Police cufflinks' gilded metal and enamel examples in the form of the forces badge, surmounted by a Queen Elizabeth II Crown. Housed in their original velvet lined presentation case with gold leaf badge details to the inside lid and inscribed "Gazetted Officers' Mess Royal Hong Kong Police". Excellent condition. Height 45mm. Queen Elizabeth II granted the 'Royal' prefix in 1969 to the 'Hong Kong Police Force' and it became the 'Royal Hong Kong Police Force' only to be removed in 1997 upon the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong to China.
