Height 37mm. The Jewish Lads Brigade was founded in 1895 by Albert Edward Goldsmid, their motto being 'They go from Strength to Strength'. In 1974 they amalgamated with the Jewish Girls Brigade to become the Jewish Lads and Girls Brigade (JLGB).

Buckle in very good condition, leather belt in poor condition, cracks, scuffs and unsuitable to wear. Buckle height 50mm.

A rare original unique group of four 'Jewish Lads Brigade full size medals' three inscribed '1955 SGT.M.Black Forest Gate Coy.' comprising: 50 Year Commemorative Bronze Adjutants Medal, Named. The Lewis Emanuel Medal Bronze Medal, given for at least four passes in the Profeciency Badge Scheme and bearing hebrew inscription, Named. Goldsmid Memorial Bronze Medal for long and efficient service in the Jewish Lads' Brigade, the obverse bearing the head of the founder of the movement, in high relief, the reverse displaying a "Menora" a seven branch candlestick. Named. Jewish Lads' Brigade Diamond Jubilee Year 1954-5 Bronze Medal mounted with nickel six pointed star to the ribbon. Complete with original silk ribbons and mounted as worn. Good condition.
