A scarce original circa 1898 to 1908 period 'Masonic Stewards lapel badge', large gilded brass ornate circular example, inlaid with white enamel, gilt bar across the centre inscribed 'STEWARD'; the reverse with early form of lapel fitting impressed 'Toye. 57 Theobalds Rd. London'. Very good condition, original slider buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, git finish remains bright. Height of front 31mm. In 1898 the expanding Masonic section of 'Toye' manufactures opened its showrooms at '57 Theobalds Road London', they became 'Toye & Co' in circa 1908.

A scarce original 'Masonic Million Memorial Fund Jewel' the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1927, maker's details 'J.R.G&S' (J.R.Gaunt & Son) and inscribed 'Bro. F.C. Moore. No.1950'. Very good clean condition, complete with original blue silk ribbon with pin fittings. Height approx 83mm. Wreath diameter approx 35mm. The Jewel designed by Bro.Cyril Saunders Spaceman, R.B.A, R.M.A, is in a form symboliizing Sacrifice, with a perfect square at the four ends, on the left and right squares being the dates 1914-1918, the years in which the supreme sacrifice was made. Between these is a winged figure of Peace presenting the representation of a Temple with special Masonic allusions in Pillars, Porch and Steps. The medal is suspended by the Square and Compasses attached to a riband, the whole thus symbolizing the Craft's gift of a new Temple in memory of those Brethren who gave all for King and Country, Peace with Victory, Liberty with Brotherhood. This example was given to a members who subscribed ten guineas or more to the Fund.

A scarce original circa 1920's 'Royal Order of Scotland Garter'; ribbed green silk band, hand embroidered in gold bullion, with the legend 'Virtute Et Silentio' and edged with gold Russia, the reverse of the gilded buckle impressed with maker's details 'G.Kenning & Son London'. Good condition, minor dulling to bullion. Length approx 55cm. The maker George Kenning (G.Kenning & Son London) were founded in 1860 and acquired Spencer & Co in 1947.
