Exceptionally good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, minor surface scratch. Height 25mm. Trained homing pigeons lent by their enrolled civilian keepers for essential use by the RAF, Army, Home Guard, SOE and Special Forces to relay urgent messages back to England.
