A scarce original Second World War period 'Church of Scotland Huts pin badge' possibly worn on a hat in the form of a large gilt blue enamel shield with white edging, displaying St Andrews Cross to the centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Marples & Beasley Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, minor flaws to the enamel but generally good, gilt finish remains bright. Height 41mm. The Church of Scotland Huts and Canteens Committee provided canteens, religious services and quiet rooms for servicemen and women during the Second World War. They worked closely with the Council for Voluntary War Work 'CVWW'.

Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 29mm. Voluntary Workers For The Forces was approved by the War Office in 1940, member's would have to complete three months work before they could qualify for the badge.

A scarce original pre 1947 period 'Salvation Army Naval Military & Air Force League pin badge'; gilt metal highly coloured enamelled example, depicting an RAF eagle, above a blue enamel anchor, flanked by a Royal Navy White Ensign and Union Jack Flag. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, a lovely example. Height 32mm. During the Second World War the Salvation Army joined Council of Voluntary Welfare Workers, providing relief to civilians and armed forces in Britain and abroad. In 1947 'The Salvation Army Naval Military & Air Force League' name was changed to the 'Red Shield Services League'.

A scarce original wartime badge from the 'The Beaver Club London'; large circular silver plated example inscribed with title surround, the red enamel centre with applied gilt Maple leaf bearing brown enamel beaver with 1940 below; the reverse impressed with maker's details "JR Gaunt London". Good condition, retaining original pin fitting, hook an old replacement, minor wear to silvered finish, enamel perfect. Diameter 32mm. 'The Beaver Club' was situated in the heart of London in Spring Gardens, S.W.1. crossing The Mall between Admiralty Arch and Trafalgar Square. It was a rest centre for Canadian Soldiers.

A rare late Second World War period gilt and enamel Canteen British Columbia War Services badge, the reverse with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Ltd. Regent St. Birmingham". Very good condition, complete with original ribbon and suspension bar with pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Overall Height 70mm. The British Columbia Services Canteen was based at British Columbia House, Lower Regent Street, London. It opened on December 23 1939 its aim was to make Canadian Servicemen feel at home in England with food and coffee served the Canadian way. The canteen served its last meal on January 14 1946.
