A scarce original First World War period red, white and blue patriotic badge, in the form of a gilt horseshoe title 'One Flag One Crown One Empire One People' joined at the base by an ornate scroll 'War Declared Aug 4th 1914' and displaying a bold 'Union Jack Flag' to the centre; the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'A.E.Horton Kidderminster'.
