Flag of Scotland Saint Andrews Cross patriotic silver & enamel badge

A scarce beautiful pre-war 'Saint Andrew's Cross flag brooch', white saltire on azure blue background inlaid with the finest quality translucent enamelling, flown from a flagpole, the reverse impressed "Silver" and with maker's details " Benzie Cowes". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, enamel perfect and retaining a good percentage of its original gilt finish.
