1914 Kingston Upon Hull Special Constable Police Cap Badge

A good original First World War 1914 period 'Kingston Upon Hull Special Constable cap badge'; gilt brass red enamel title surround, convex button style centre with ornate embossed shield bearing three Ducal Coronets from the City Arms and inscribed 'Kingston Upon Hull'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin, enamel intact but with minor ding to rim in the 12 o'clock position, gilt finish remains bright, slight light reflection marks to centre, not there in reality.
