RAF No 192 Squadron Royal Air Force badge H.W.Miller 1943 -45

A very rare original King George VI 1943 -1945 period 'RAF No 192 (Special) Squadron Royal Air Force' gilt and enamel badge, the centre depicting an owl's head over a flash of lightning, and motto 'Dare to Discover', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
