Boy Scouts Medal of Merit 3rd Issue Fylfot Medal c.1922-1934

A rare original 1922 to' 1934 period 'Boy Scouts Medal of Merit 3rd Issue controversial medal'; gilt swastika (good luck sign design) bearing scout emblem to voided centre, suspended from a green ribbed silk ribbon on gilt suspension bar; the reverse impressed with the recipient details 'A.S.M C.LL. LOWE. 1st MORTLAKE SEA SCOUTS. JUNE 1924'. Good condition. Height approx 78mm.
The Fylfot controversial design medal could later be returned and exchanged for the new design or the holder could buy the new medal and keep the original, I expect from it rarity many were destroyed.
