Royal Ordnance Factory Sports Association pre 1925 lapel badge

A rare original pre 1925 period 'Royal Ordnance Factory Sports Association membership badge', gilt brass blue enamel title surround, the embossed central red enamel shield depicting three old exercise clubs over Artillery Gun flanked by two sportsmen figures; the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'CARTER & COX LTD. LONDON' which closed its business in 1925. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no enamel loss, minimal wear.
