Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers & Firemen 45 yrs service railway badge

A good original 'Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen A.S.L.E.F. 45 years long service trade union badge'; gilt six pointed star inlaid with light and dark blue enamel, the centre bearing old steam engine over clasped hands on blue enamel ground; the reverse embossed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini, Regent St. Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
