Goldsmiths Cycling Club London 1904 Hm Silver Membership Badge

A rare original very fine quality Edwardian period 'Goldsmiths Cycling Club membership lapel badge', circular title surround, the letters inlaid with blue enamel, the voided centre depicting a shield with embossed silver lion's head on a field of red enamel; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1904 and maker's details Vaughton Birm'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no enamel loss, an excellent example.
