A scarce original 'British Red Cross Society The Norfolk Cup 1913 Voluntary Aid Detachment pin badge'; gilt five pointed star with red enamel title surround suspended from a regular pattern suspension bar, the centre bearing an embossed shield Coat of arms granted to West Sussex County Council in 1889; the reverse inscribed: WON BY V.A.D. SUSSEX 13 F.SIMMONDS'. Very good clean condition, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
