WW2 DOCKS A.R.P. Air Raid Precaution lapel badge

A rare original Second World War period 'Docks ARP home front warden badge'; an interesting unidentified eight-sided octagon shape chromium plated example with red enamel title surround, the central blue and white wavy lines representing flowing water; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
