GQ Parachutist Gregory & Quilter Company qualification badge RAF Free French

A scarce original early pattern 'Gregory & Quilter Parachute Company silver plated winged parachute canopy GQ badge' depicting a parachutist, the slim wings inlaid with red enamelling, the reverse impressed 'G.Q. Parachutist'. Very good condition, complete with original tube joint pin fitting and flat rolled catch, no damage to the enamel.
Size approx 38 x 17mm.
The 'GQ Parachutist badge' was given by the 'Gregory & Quilter Company' to anyone who had completed parachute training using their parachutes.
