British Railways North Eastern Region totem style cap badge J.R.Gaunt

A scarce original circa 1949 to 1955 issue 'British Railways North Eastern Region nickel plated convex cap badge' inlaid with Tangerine colour enamel, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, complete with original two round loop fittings and split pin.
