A very scarce original post 1934 period 'United Provinces Nurses and Midwives Council pin badge' issued by the Indian Nursing Council, in the form of a large silvered convex disc, displaying green enamel title surround, the central rings 'Love The Spirit of Service' 'R.N. No 220.', with lamp of knowledge to centre. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks, very minor edge knock to the enamel in the 3 o'clock position..
