Robertsons Golly footballer white waistcoat advertising badge J.R.Gaunt London

A very scarce original circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Golly Footballer promotional pin badge' playing a scarce blue and white football and wearing a white waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' to his chest, the reverse impressed in hollow on back 'J.R.Gaunt, London'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, a sliver of enamel loss to top of head, stress marks to left knee, gilt finish remains bright.
