Nottinghamshire Ambulance Service Cap Badge

A scarce original circa 1970's vintage period 'Nottinghamshire (T) Ambulance Service obsolete cap badge', ornate oval chromium plated example inlaid with white enamel, the central double snake rod on translucent green enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'BUTLER 48 VITTORIA ST BIRMINGHAM'. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin, no stress marks or enamel loss.
Height approx 42mm.
