A rare original post 1927 possibly Second World War period 'Vickers Armstrongs Ltd Ambulance Corps Crayford lapel badge', large gilt brass example in the form of a white enamel flown flag bearing diagonal red cross with title details between each arm; the reverse impressed in relief 'The Property of Vickers - Armstrong Ltd. Crayford' and impressed with official identification number '103'. Good condition, no enamel loss, but with small minor stress line to central cross, gilt finish remains bright.
