Hackney Hospital London County Council 1939 silver nurses badge

A scarce original 'Hackney Hospital silver and enamel nurses unnamed badge' in the form of a cross mounted with the 'London County Council Arms' to the centre, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1939 and maker's details 'F&S' (Fattorini & Son). Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting with safety roller catch in good working order, no enamel loss, minimal service wear.
Height approx 31mm.
