Seacroft Holiday Camp Hemsby badge Norfolk

A good original pre war circa 1930's 'Seacroft Hemsby holiday camp badge', gilt brass example bearing fancy scrolls inlaid with green and white enamel, the reverse impressed in relief with maker's details 'Roden London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.
Height approx 22mm.
'Seacroft Holiday Camp at Hemsby Norfolk' was established in the 1920s by Jack Bishop it pre-dated Butlins Holiday Camps. Seacroft was requisitioned by the Military armed forces during the Second World War re-opening again in 1946. Later it became part of the 'Pontins' group.
