A scarce original circa 1950's 'Robertson's Golly Footballer player promotional enamel pin badge' playing a white football, wearing light blue coat and white waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' to chest, the reverse impressed in relief with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, stress marks to mouth, speckle flaws to trousers, gilt finish remains bright.
