WW1 Thornycroft 1914 Southampton War Service Badge

A very scarce original First World War period 'Thornycroft 1914 Southampton Working On H.M. Service numbered identification brass lapel badge' large blue enamel title surround, the centre inscribed 'Thornycroft 1914 Southampton' on white enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Bradford' and official issue number '501'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, minor service wear to the enamel.
