WW1 Frances Day 1917 charity official fundraisers badge

A scarce original First World War period British made 'Frances Day 1917 gilt and enamel badge' worn by a volunteer collecting for the cause, in the form of a good quality gilt medallion inlaid with white enamel bearing an embossed yellow rose flower head; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, no enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.
