WW2 Ind Coope & Allsopp Breweries ARP Official Air Raid Precautions Badge

A very rare original Second World War period 'Ind Coope & Allsopp Breweries ARP Official badge'; chromium plated oval inlaid with blue and red enamel; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel. Size approx 33 x 21mm.
In 1935 Samuel Allsopp & Sons merged with Ind Coope Ltd to form Ind Coope and Allsopp Ltd, the Allsopp name was dropped in 1959 when the company reverted to back to 'Ind Coope'.
