Blue Peter Plastic Shield Ship Badge c.1970’s BBC TV Series

A very scarce original circa 1970's period rare pattern 'Blue Peter pin badge', white plastic shield bearing blue sailing ship with SMALL RIPPLE below ship. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, minimal age wear.
Height approx 29mm.
Blue Peter is a British children's television entertainment programme created by John Hunter Blair and having been broadcast since October 1958.
