A rare original circa 1920's 1930's period 'George West song sheet music badge'; miniature gilt and enamel head depicting a portrayal of the comedian and variety entertainer bearing a red nose and named 'GEO WEST' to his shirt; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W. MILLER Ltd, BRANSTON ST B'HAM.18 COPYRIGHT'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or enamel loss. Height approx 27mm.
George West was famous for his pantomime and music hall performances during the 1920s and 1930s.
