Royal Navy HMS Curacoa cap tally silk ribbon badge 1942 Sunk by RMS Queen Mary
A very rare ORIGINAL circa 1917 - 1942 early period 'H.M.S. Curacoat cap tally ribbon', gold wire embroidered lettering with small square dots on long silk ribbon one end pointed the other straight. Very good condition.
Length apprrox 130mm. / 40 1/2 inches.
Royal Navy HMS Curacoa built 1917. During the Second World War 2nd October 1942, she was cut in half by the Cunard-White Star Line Ocean Liner, she sunk in minutes with the loss of of 338 lives.
